Well, speaks for it's self really. the N.H.D.T.G and a few volunteers from embsay, over the past few weeks have put alot of work into getting the 31 looking something like. after all it arrived a year ago and has lasted well in it's cleaned up state.

Kick off with 55022 at ELR gala, back in traffic after a exstensive overall, and acrackin paint job and is a credit to all the people involved.

47004 arrives at it's new home at the embsay and bolton abbey railway. Also 31107 on the move to barnetby from barrow hill showing off new livery for the network rail level crossing crash advert.

37405,401 on railtour from Ealing Broadway to Shrewsbury ,425 to Bargoed , 417 on Rhymney at Cardiff ,50049 and 031 to fishguard and back, also 47714 on a rare move anglia 47, FGW power car and mk 3 virgin coach.

37417 and 37406 from york to carlisle and back. First tractors again for me over the s&c since the arriva farewell trip in 2004.

class 50012 and 028 with highland rail stickers at carlisle on orcadian weekend, also a few 66 things at carlisle. also the Kingfisher tour to whitby with 33029 and 025 from skipton.

Another bash to whitby. 40145 sounded hellfire going up the bank from whitby. 37229 put on a good show. lots of clag and noise.

Well this maybe was my last but probaly penultimate time i will be doing the sleeper to fort william behind a 37. Also some pics of royal scotsman train at Dundee.

My first time at the great central, can't think of a better way to do it than behind a 37.

i never did get lion in the bag after all but some hellfire rat thrash from one end of line to the other. Both 40s sounded well and looked fantastic especially 145s paint finish which looked like it had just come staright out of the builders paint shops.

reason for headboard was it was the only one wih the royal crest on. 6201 manchester holyhead. ran nearly to time.

A trip to Fort William on the caledonian sleeper, also a visit to carlisle.

47712 and 47832 at Chester with blue pullman, also the loco hauled Manchester Holyhead 57303 alan tracey.

Loud trip from Derby to Redmire. stayed fine, just. This was my first trip behind a class 50 (50s) i was very impressed.

A few pics from the diesel gala didn't take many phots mostly riding on the train and cabbing it all day, also 31119s first passenger run in quite a while, first driver training run, did 4 trips up and down the line (hellfire)

As seen as the rutland renegade had been cancelled, i ventured to chester to take some pics of 48151 which was over an hour late. also 48151 failed to get back under it's own power after having to terminate at preston on the return trip. some pics of the loco hauled service to holyhead. thunderbirds are go.

The welsh whistler from crewe to cardiff. which didn't actually do a full round trip under it's own power having been delayed somewhere near the bottom of the lickey for 2 1/2 hours i finally arrived back at manchester about 1am sunday morning arriving at my home in skipton for 3:15am sunday morning. never the less hellfire thrash throughout despite the assistance of a 47 up the Lickey.

Cracking day out. 37214 put on a hellfire performance, along with 37605.

This folder contains archive photo's from 2005 and 2004, they consist of the arriva trains last loco hauled service over the s&c (there are some pictures which i have included which are at carlisle the same day as the locohauled services finished on the s&c) also a visit to the first loco hauled services at the wensleydale railway. Ihave also included a few pictures from fort bill of 37s on the caladonian sleeper.
